MAYOR McCOY & ARTS COUNCIL HOST COCKTAIL PARTY

 

 

Monroe County Mayor Charles "Sonny" McCoy, host, and the board members of the Florida Keys Council of the Arts present the annual Mayor's Cocktail Party, honoring business members and donors at the $100 level and above, Thursday, February 21, 6-8 p.m., at the home of Joyce Stahl in Key West.

Musical entertainment will be provided by virtuoso pianist Franko Richmond, winner of the arts council's 2001 Renaissance Award. (Mr. Richmond will premiere his exciting Concerto Latino with the Key West Pops, Vincent Zito, conductor, Sunday, March 3, 7:30 p.m., at the Tennessee Williams Fine Arts Center. Guest portraiture will be demonstrated at the party by Letty Nowak, the remarkable young creator of the Faces of Key West painting series, sponsored by the Wave Gallery.
