Arts in the Afternoon combines lunch & costumes!

The Florida Keys Council of the Arts invites the community to the second in this season’s three Arts in the Afternoon elegant lunch-and-conversation sessions benefiting the three live theaters in Key West on Friday, March 1, at Flagler’s Restaurant in the Wyndham Casa Marina Resort, 1500 Reynolds St., Key West.

Lunch will be served at noon, and the panel discussion begins at 12:30 p.m. The topic this time is costume design, and the panel features Jessica Steele from the Red Barn Theatre, "Sushi" from the Tennessee Williams Fine Arts Center (TWFAC), and Mita Rattew from the Waterfront Playhouse.

The lively February 1 session on set design featured Mike Boyer from TWFAC, the Red Barn’s Gary McDonald, and Terry Tucker from the Waterfront. On April 5, at the Grand Key Resort, the subject turns to music.

A single ticket to the March 1 session is $30. A series ticket, including both the March 1 and the April 5 sessions, is $50.
