Arts in the Afternoon

Peter Asimov

The Keys Chamber Orchestra (KCO), is the last beneficiary this year of the Florida Keys Council of the Arts luncheon series “Arts in the Afternoon.” These luncheons are held to benefit and preview the work of selected local performing arts groups.  Director Inga-Lisa Wright, who has played in orchestras for over 40 years, is pleased to announce that KCO members Kay Janecka, Elizabeth Shrake, and Marvin Perry will join guest Gordon Wright, who served as the music director of the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra for 20 years and has appeared on NBC Nightly News, CBS Sunday Morning and NPR’s Performance Today.  And that is not all, Peter Asimov, born in 1991, and who in 2002, was a finalist in the ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Competition for his Sonata for Clarinet and Piano, will give a guest performance as well.  This is a very special musical feast.  Lunch will be served in the Dining Room of the Wyndham Casa Marina at noon on April 4th.

RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Please call 295-4369
