The
Florida Keys Council of the Arts announces the winners of Dance scholarships
to Burklyn Ballet in Vermont for summer 2005. These grants are supported
by funds raised through the Arts in the Afternoon lunchtime series and
private donations.
Over
21 dancers from all over the Keys auditioned on March 6th at the Coffee
Mill Culture Center in Key West. The talent and energy of all the dance
participants is a testament to the growing support for dance in the
Keys, as well as a reflection of the dedicated dance studios and dance
schools of Monroe County.
