Florida Keys Council of the Arts
Makes Award to Longtime Board Member David Cohn

Outgoing vice-chairman David Cohn (right) was recognized for his contributions to the arts community by the board of the Florida Keys Council of the Arts. Executive Director Monica Haskell (left) presented the award at a recent FKCA board meeting held in Tavernier.

David is well-known and appreciated as an advocate for arts and culture in the Keys. He will continue to serve on the Arts Council's Advisory Board. He has served on the Arts Council board since its earliest days, including several years as vice-chairman. David is often seen on stage with the Key Players, and served for several years on the Cultural Umbrella committee.

The Florida Keys Council of the Arts connects those who create the arts with those who support the arts. The Arts Council makes grants, creates art in public places, and publishes a Gallery Guide and Cultural Calendars.
