The Studios of Key West
Offers
Low-Cost Studios to Artists & Writers

The Studios of Key West premiers its Studio Artists Program, featuring low-cost studios in a community-based environment within the historic Armory Building and Old City Hall Museums.

Created to support local artists and writers, the Studio Artists Program aims to foster the creativity, community and professional development of its juried and selected applicants. Studio Artists in the program will open their studio doors to visitors on the third Thursday of every month during "Walk on White," affording them public viewing opportunities.  Exhibits, workshops, lectures and classes will be available as the program develops.

More than twenty studios will become available in November, 2006 and in February and June of 2007, eligible to lower Keys artists and writers of varying disciplines. Visit www.tskw.org/studios for an application and more information. The deadline is Friday, October 13 at 5 p.m.
