Fellowships of $7,500 and $15,000 are again available
to visual and media artists in the Keys.


South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowships
for Visual and Media Artists.

The South Florida Cultural Consortium is an alliance of the arts councils of
Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, Monroe and Martin Counties.

Workshop 1:00 p.m. August 17

The Florida Keys Council of the Arts will host a workshop on August 17 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gato Building, 1100 Simonton Street, Key West, for artists interested in applying for the fellowships. Rem Cabrera, chief of cultural development for Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, will answer questions and provide information about the award program.

The $15,000 fellowship is the largest such award provided by local arts agencies in the United States for mid-career artists.
