Please Attend Meeting at City Hall
Wednesday, January 3

With Your Help, Seward Johnson

Will Make a Generous Gift to Key West.

 On November 21
THE CITY COMMISSION VOTED TO REJECT THE GIFT
of a sculpture especially created
by world-renowned sculptor
Seward Johnson for the
Southernmost Point.

The sculpture consists of seven figures (4 adults and 3 children) with a value of more than $700,000, however it's benefit to our city and the arts community is beyond calculation.

Mr. Johnson has graciously offered to "lend" this creation to the city for a period of one year, to see how the community feels about it.
Therefore, A NEW PROPOSAL IS BEING BROUGHT BEFORE THE CITY COMMISSION AT THEIR JAN 3 MEETING,
sponsored by the mayor.

It is VERY important that concerned citizens and art lovers be at this meeting to show their support - and to speak if necessary -
in favor of the project.

Old City Hall
Green St. and begins at 6 pm.
Wednesday, January 3

The Key West Art in Public Places Board
would appreciate your support.

Thank you
