While attending undergraduate school I began serious work as an artist. After my graduate work on a full scholarship at Cranbrook Academy of Art I received my MFA and leveraged it into a teaching position at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where I loved teaching and the freedom to do my own work. During my teaching position my work evolved from contemplative objects to interactive spaces and poetic environments. The primary purpose has been to create objects and spaces that humanize our social environments and enrich our community experience.
