Artists in Schools Grant
Innovation and Collaboration equals Education
Description
We are seeking grant projects that focus on collaboration between the classroom teacher and the teaching artist. Established curriculum is enhanced implementing the creative arts to support learning for all age groups K-12. The teaching artist partners with the classroom teacher(s) who have completed advance preparation with their students.
Special Project Grants
Creativity and Support equals New Opportunity
Description
The Special Project Grants offer short-term support for creative projects by Monroe County artists and arts organizations that do not fund ongoing expenses but rather fulfill a need for a specific artistic venture. Applications are open to individual artists, arts organizations, and community groups based in Monroe County. Applicants must demonstrate new work, a realistic project timeline, budget and resume and/or organizations nonprofit status and mission statement.
